Cooking Club

Calling all chefs and bakers! Dust off your whisks, get out your apron, and let’s get ready to cook!!! The MOMs Group Cooking Club committee invites you to join us the third Thursday of each month at a member’s home to sample dishes, trade recipes, and meet new friends. Our committee welcomes everyone – no experience necessary! Simply prepare a dish that complements the monthly theme and come to the assigned hostess’s house ready to eat! All attendees can sample the various dishes and then vote for their favorite. We encourage everyone to copy or take a pic of their recipe so we can share with everyone!

Look for monthly updates on Facebook and via email.

January 18: Healthy and Tasty

Start the new year off right with a night trying healthy dishes you can make all year long. Many of us have a family member with dietary restrictions, and finding recipes to accommodate their needs can sometimes be difficult. What are your favorite gluten free, dairy free, vegan, vegetarian, etc. recipes? Let’s share our best health-conscious dishes, ones that taste so delicious that we’ll forget we’re even trying to be healthy in the first place!

February 15: Cooking with Chocolate

Let’s keep Valentine’s Day alive with a night full of chocolate. We want your savory and sweet chocolate recipes! Savory as in chocolate chili, cocoa-rubbed tenderloin, or chocolate pasta! Sweet as in brownies, lava cake, or truffles! And feel free to bring along a tasty chocolate stout or chilled chocolate wine!
