Does anyone know of a good...?
Are you a new mom and unsure where to turn for a good pediatrician or daycare? Maybe you are living in one of Oakwood's many older homes and find that you need your electrical wiring replaced. Or maybe you just want someone to freshen up you or your home. Who doesn't need a good referral now and then? And what better source to receive a referral than word-of-mouth from a fellow MOMs member!
For the past few years, the MOMs Group has gathered referrals from various MOMs on many service providers with the compilation being posted in the MOMs Membership Directory or a newsletter. Past categories have included but are certainly not limited to: attorney, auto repair, babysitter, beautician, children's daycare/preschool/classes, cleaning service, decorator, dentist, electrician, financial advisor, home remodeler/repairman, landscaper, physician, plumber, restaurants, etc. Referral Network this year will be posted on our website. Ideally, referrals could be added, deleted or edited throughout the year. So if you don't have a referral right now, but you meet someone you'd like to recommend you can do so on the website anytime.
This year, rather than updating or adding to past lists, we will start fresh. If there is a business or service provider with whom you have had a positive experience, please forward the information about that person or group via email or regular mail to Liz Jacomet. Comments from personal experience are very helpful. If you have submitted a recommendation to the referral network in the past and still would recommend that provider, please re-submit that information for this year. Feel free to submit as many recommendations as you would like to give. The referral list is only as good as you make it! Don't delay --- submit your recommendations today!
